Yuletide treats and tasty tipples will be on offer at the Bicester Christmas Craft and Foodie market on Saturday.
Top traders from around the region will be congregating to ply their wares on Saturday, 10 December in the Sheep Street. The market runs from 9am to 5pm.
The stalls will be laden with wares to grace a Christmas lunch and gifts to heap around the tree. The merchandise will include one-off gifts, artisanal beers, wines and gin, and arts and crafts to fire the imagination.
Cllr George Reynolds, Cherwell’s deputy leader, said: “The Bicester Christmas market will be a truly memorable way to get into the festive spirit and find inspiration for gift ideas.
“Shoppers will be able to browse unique, handmade items and gourmet food and drink of a kind not on offer in chain stores or online. It will be an atmospheric and social way to shop with customer service that simply cannot be matched by online shopping.”
Also on offer will be a pig roast, organic food, cakes and pudding, jewellery, cosmetics and fine art. The seasonal shopping event is jointly promoted by Cherwell District Council and operator Sketts.
